The Menagerie Oddities Market was created in 2018 by artists to fill a much needed void for this sub-culture art genre on the West Coast. The Menagerie has evolved from two events a year to spectacular themed shows with Curious Creatures and Purveyors selling extraordinary wares. We’ve taken our Jolly Band of Misfits on road trips across Northern California, Oregon, Nevada, and founded the region’s first Alternative Music Festival with bands, DJs, a fashion show, and more to celebrate Alternative sub-culture.

Our unique venues provide an interactive atmosphere to the market experience and a backdrop for the weird in all of us: The Winchester Mystery House, Preston Castle, Brookdale Lodge, The USS Hornet Museum, Camron-Stanford House, The Mackay Mansion, Madonna Inn, The Old Steeple, and more. Our focus is community, offering patrons and shoppers a safe place to come together in all things odd.

The Menagerie continually sets the standard in our realm by producing one-of-a-kind events, seeking out the finest vendors from near and far. Among the art stalls of our shows you’ll find wondrous wares such as taxidermy (faux and traditional), alternative fine jewelry, medical and science specimens, occult & ritual items, bizarre photography, unique clothing, small batch products, dark art, classes & workshops, fascinating speakers, and a curated vendor line up you won’t find anywhere else!
