Calling All Tinkers, Makers, & Hawkers of Extraordinary things..

PLEASE READ FIRST: Our oddity and curiosity events are highly curated oddity ART shows. Our focus is on the artist and the collector. The Menagerie is now seeking purveyors of strange & unusual handmade wares, antiques, taxidermy, natural science, medical history, bizarre home décor, the occult, dark art, weird anatomical curiosities, relics, unique jewelry, and more. The Menagerie hosts ONE metaphysical themed show a year, for the New Year.

IF selected, we’ll contact you with booth availability and pricing through Google Forms. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US WITH INQUIRIES.

**Virtual markets are ONLINE - you must have an online selling platform to participate. These events are managed by Menagerie vendors making it a community event for everyone involved with our brand. They bring their personal knowledge and experiences from vending other virtual markets and vending in-person events to offer fellow vendors and Menagerie patrons a one-of-a-kind, virtual market experience.

Prospective Vendors FAQ’S

  • Every event has a specific number of categories with a maximum number of artists in each.

  • Our application process is ongoing until an event is filled.

  • RETURNING Vendors are not guaranteed a space.

  • We do not send rejection letters. If your application is accepted we will notify you when we have an opening.

  • We do not share vending information on public forums, this includes booth fees.

  • We will NEVER solicit you by asking you to call a number, send money up front, or through posting on social media so BEWARE of scammers.

  • Fine art, candle, chocolate, and textile vendors are given first priority at indoor/outdoor venues.

  • Payment is expected to secure your space at the time you submit your selection. If you need additional time, please inquire.

  • DETERMINING WHO VENDS…we consider all of the following and more: Do you fit our criteria for odd & curious; Booth set-up in photos or social media; Price points-we are not a flea market or swap meet; Is your social media up-to-date with your art work; Who/what/where are you currently vending; If you are a returning artist, we review all aspects of your vending history with us including how you treat our crew, your fellow vendors, etc.

  • This ain’t your granny’s craft fair! If you aren’t sure your creations are a good fit, look up our events on social media. Spooky ghosts, horror, and pumpkins are good for Halloween themes but don’t necessarily make an oddity. Some of our shows are specifically themed-some artists may fit one but not all. AGAIN, our artists specialize in collectibles, natural science, and objets d’ art~we are not a witchy/metaphysical market. Crystals, tye-dye, and herbs are NOT odd.

  • We recommend ALL vendors carry event insurance, have a California resale certificates, and a business license for the cities you vend. Resale certificates are free here: https://www.cdtfa.ca.gov/taxes-and-fees/faqseller.htm

  • Vendors are responsible to know all California State laws on animal possession and sales as well as what documents are needed. Please keep documents on hand at your booth. The Menagerie is not responsible for vendors having required documentation or costs associated with acquiring permits, licenses, fines, or fees.

  • NO AI Art - this is a handmade by you or found object, fine art show.
